The California Bioeconomy Innovation Campus is BEAM Circular’s flagship project, providing shared infrastructure, technical services, and scale-up support to help circular bioeconomy innovators bridge the gap between bench research and commercial manufacturing.

Initial offerings coming online in late 2026 and early 2027:

  • Bench- and pilot-scale liquid and gas fermentation

  • Upstream and downstream processing equipment

  • Support for diverse feedstock utilization, with specialization in food processing side-streams, agricultural byproducts, and forestry residues.

  • Co-location siting support for manufacturers

  • Lab and office space

  • Access to innovation resources and ecosystem partners

Community Resources

Beyond business resources and technology scale-up, the Innovation Campus will provide shared facilities and partnership opportunities to support local education, workforce training, and conservation projects in the North San Joaquin Valley.

Local residents and community partners can learn more about the Campus, get project updates, and provide their feedback and ideas to help shape what comes next through upcoming Community Information Sessions and workshops hosted by the BEAM Team.
